Design and Inspiration
The shirt is primarily a bright, vivid sky blue with dark navy logos and white accents. The prominent feature is a white diagonal stripe (sash) with a subtle dynamic texture, giving a sense of movement. The sash design is a nod to the club’s history, having been a popular element on away kits in the 1970s, worn by club legends such as Colin Bell and Mike Summerbee. The kit is completed with white shorts and sky blue socks.
Material and Sustainability
Puma offers the kit in two versions:
Authentic (Player Edition): Made with PUMA’s ULTRAWEAVE fabric, which is ultra-light and reduces friction for elite performance.
Replica (Fan Edition): Features a looser fit and uses PUMA’s dryCELL sweat-wicking technology for comfort.
Both versions of the replica jersey use at least 95% recycled textile waste as part of PUMA’s RE:FIBRE sustainability program, aiming for a more circular production process.
