2025/26 CHELSEA AWAY SHIRT

Design and Inspiration

The design of the 2025/26 away kit is heavily inspired by a “cult classic” kit from the 1970s, which itself was a tribute to Hungary’s famous “Magnificent Magyars” national team.

• Color Palette: The shirt is predominantly an off-white or “phantom” base color, accented by “dark military green” and red details.

• Pinstripes: Instead of the broad central stripe of the original 1970s version, this reimagined kit features fine red and green pinstripes running vertically down the middle of the shirt.

• Details: The Nike logo and the club badge match the subtle green color, blending nicely into the design. It features refined rib detailing and finishes that blur the line between sport and street. The accompanying socks are red.

• Sponsor: As of October 2025, the sleeve sponsor is FPT Corporation. The front-of-shirt sponsor is Infinite Athlete.

Reviews and Reception

Reviewers have generally praised the design for its nostalgic appeal and sophisticated look, calling it a “London masterpiece”. Experts on YouTube channels have described the overall look as “really nice” and “classy”. However, one reviewer mentioned the red socks do not look as good as green ones might have.
